What progress have you made towards improving your fitness and overall skill sets tested in the previous 7 years of the Reebok CrossFit Open? How has your bar or ring muscle up progressed? Has your rowing efficiency improved? What about your barbell cycling for the Snatch and Clean?


With the 2018 Reebok CrossFit Games nearly 2 months away, CrossFit Rise will be offering a few services to help you prepare for your best season yet!

30 min, 60 min, 3 - 30 min and 3 - 60 min One-on-One Coaching sessions




Pull Up Course

Pull-Up Course - 3-45 minute sessions to build required strength for strict and kipping pull ups. Open to members and non-members. No minimum requirements.

3 total sessions, which meet from 10:45a-11:30a on:

Specialty Clinics


The 7 specialty clinics are open to members and non-members. Each sessions focus will be on complex movements consistently tested in the Open. Clinic’s will meet Sunday at 10:15a and will run 60-120 minutes. Our coaches offer a wide array of expertise in Weightlifting, CrossFit and Gymnastics.


Double Under - improve your efficiency and timing

Sunday, January 7th from 10:15a - 12:15p. Coached by multi-year Regional Athlete Val Shiel and Thomas Norden. No minimum requirements.

Toes-to-Bar & Kipping Handstand Push Ups - improve your coordination, efficiency and timing

Sunday January 21st from 10:15a - 11:45a. Coached by Division 1 gymnast and multi-year Regional Athlete Tristan Erlenbaugh.

Ring Muscle Up - Improve your body position, stability and connectivity for a strong and safe dynamic kip.

Sunday, January 28th from 10:15a - 11:30a. Coached by CrossFit Rise’s Head Coach Justin Ehrhardt. Minimum requirement - 2 unassisted strict pull ups & ring dips.


CTB Pull Ups & Bar Muscle Ups

Part 1: Chest-to-Bar Pull Ups* Part 2: Bar Muscle Ups**

Improve your body position, blocking and connectivity for a strong and safe dynamic kip.

*Sunday, February 4th from 10:15a - 11:00a (Part 1). Minimum requirement - Part 1 - Must be able to hang from the pull up cage for 30 consecutive seconds. **Sunday, February 4th from 11:00a - 11:45a (Part 2). Part 1 & Part 2 are included, but it is not necessary to attend both. Part 1 and Part 2 will be Coached by Division 1 gymnast and multi-year Regional Athlete Tristan Erlenbaugh. Minimum requirement - Part 2: 2 unassisted strict pull ups.


Snatch - this technique focused clinic will improve your efficiency in max efforts or barbell cycling efforts tested in the Open.

Sunday, February 11th from 10:15a - 12:15p. Coached by 2x Olympic Coach for USA Weightlifting Roger Nielsen. No minimum requirements.


Clean & Jerk - this technique focused clinic will improve your efficiency in max efforts or barbell cycling efforts tested in the Open.

Sunday, February 18th from 10:15a - 12:15p. Coached by 2x Olympic Coach for USA Weightlifting Roger Nielsen. No minimum requirements.


Rowing - Improve your understanding of the erg and pacing ability for various types of CrossFit workouts.

Sunday, February 25th from 10:15a - 11:45a. Coached by Head Coach Justin Ehrhardt. No minimum requirements.

Each clinic has a minimum registration requirement of 5 people and a maximum registration limit of 20 people. Register by Saturday prior to the Sunday Clinic to guarantee your spot!



Open Prep Training Days


Open Prep Training Days are extremely successful in building camaraderie and enthusiasm for the Reebok CrossFit Open. Open Prep Training Days will consistent of a lifting session followed by a metcon similar to those programmed in the Open.


Open Prep Training Days will meet during the Saturday 9a class and will run for 90 minutes. Open Prep is free for members and open to non-members for a $20 drop-in.

Include your availability and desired skill focus for the session. Based on your desired time and skill focus you will be assigned the most appropriate coach.
